A Cure for AIDS?

I remember watching a television documentary on PBS where individuals appeared to be immuned to the efffects of HIV. They seemed to acquired this immunity from their ancestors during the Black Plague that hit Europe during the 1340's. The pandemic wiped out over 75 million people and was carried by rats who were infested with fleas that transported the deadly virus.

I thought why not just use the genetic material of the present day individuals to introduce into people who have the HIV virus. They can be paid through a government formed trust over a period of time and harvest their cells in order to cure the infected.
