Nice Thoughts.....

I thought this quote from Saint Therese was extremely profound and thoughtful. I wanted to keep it always......

"In judging others a man labours in vain, often errs, and easily sins: but in judging and in looking into himself, he always labours with fruit."

Creative Flux

I have been trying to illustrate, literally, my words through the use of images composed of line drawing in pen and ink and graphite and charcoal. Pure creative expression with a traditional academic standard throughout the illustrations; a contemporary version of Blake's Songs of Innocence and Experience.

Trying to get them published is even tougher than the actual process of creating them..... Cheers.

The Pastoral Path

Here's another round at poetry.........it relates to finding your own unique way in the world. Sort of another look at Frost's road less traveled.

To go through a thorny patch

is a stilted route at first
a boon to persistance
when cut
just whisper a curse!
Hallowed by rhyme
inscribed and defined
the path evolves easy with time
when seeking a way
from the course of the day
to find that original verse.
